This post provides us with mnemonic for the BGP best path selection algorithm. For the CCNP ROUTE exam, you had better know your way around the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) best path selection algorithm. Now the great news is, Cisco does not expect you to have the details memorized of the entire thing in Rain Man-like fashion. But they do indeed expect you to be able to describe the first 5 steps or so.
