Leadership Team at StormWind
A team obsessed with customer satisfaction & cutting edge learning
From day one, our goal was to create a team of leaders with passion for training and an obsession with delivering a world class learning experience.
And this isn't our first rodeo either. We founded Mastering Computers in the 90's (Microsoft's largest classroom training partner) and KnowledgeNet in the late 90s (Cisco's largest eLearning partner). We've literally trained hundreds of thousands of IT pros in dozens of countries. So I guess you could say we know a thing or two about the training space. Check out our backgrounds for more stories.

It helps to know that Tom is a serial entrepreneur, a problem solver, a big picture guy with a passion for delivering above and beyond what others promise. Tom likes to challenge his team to be the catalyst in making the impossible possible. This results in making customers "raving fans" and downright giddy about working with StormWind (just ask any of them... or better yet, watch our client success stories on stormwind.com) He ignites StormWind Studios with his drive for bottom-line client successes.
Corey Frank is - at heart - an idea guy, as well as a sales guy, who can take a good punch...repeatedly. He loves launching relevant technology, shepherding sales-driven organizations and cultivating teams to spark serious revenue. It's been rumored that he's addicted to Diet Mountain Dew, whiteboards and a cool story. He's often found hanging out with the maniacally-driven sales and creative folks around our studios. Unfortunately, he also suffers from incurable sales ADD and is known to break out in hives upon any launch of a dry PowerPoint.
The list of the wildly successful and "braggable" projects John's team has completed and launched include leading brands like EMC, Cisco, Centex Homes, United States Coast Guard, Rexam, State Farm, McKesson, Dell, Amgen, Cummins, La Quinta, Molson Coors, Charles Schwab, Sun Microsystems, Intel, University of Toyota, DuPont, Hilton, Agilent Technologies, Wells Fargo, United Airlines, Kyocera, Lexus, and Federal Express - to name just a few (John can be a real name dropper when he talks about the pride he has in his clients).
As StormWind's Prime Minister of Edutainment and Production Kingpin, Tom is what you get if you crossed an inside linebacker with a hardened artillery commander. It certainly begs many questions: Such as...is that even legal? Or does he really bombard you with footballs? Or what's his best time in the 40? If Tom is one thing to StormWind, it's the go to guy for ensuring that all of our students receive the best, over the top, spike-it in the end zone kind of experience. Consequently, Tom can twist a boring PowerPoint slide or your average ho-hum technical training session into the service of his mini-beatific technical vision until it literally screams for diplomatic immunity. Stemming from his years proudly serving in the US Army and stints managing service teams at Nextel and Front Range Solutions, Tom has more years of experience directing high achieving technical professionals and service teams than the Redskins - his team - has had head coaches (yeah, really that many).
